Using data integration and marketing strategies, the goal was to work cross-functionally with sales and engineers to promote Boeing’s latest product line.
1. BDSI Part Number Built
- Ensure that parts are in the system promptly by conducting an 80/20 analysis in Excel
- Cross-functional duties: communicate with Quality and Assurance in Miami and Arizona
- Deliver data to Quality and Assurance from SAP and Excel
- Check up and follow up until the parts are in the system
2. Data Analytics / Data Mining
- Configure top customers by accessing the Oracle Business Intelligence Tool
- Filter by specific categories to narrow down information
- Access channels such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
- As a BDSI intern, I had access to the BDSI systems where my team in Dallas did not, i.e., OEM Market Segment and Bin Orders for all customers (see below)
